Check the updated TOC's, google is now saying they will terminate your account if you don't generate a minimum number of impressions and clicks.

Essentially (IMO) they are saying screw you to the smaller sites and they only need the big ones.

We all made adsense what it is, I say boycott NOW.

Google is a business, I guess they calculated and assume that they need that minimum number of impressions and clicks in order to be profitable. Adsense is a for profit outfit, there have the right the determine how much money to make and to rid themselves of those that they do not consider money making. Sad, but this is a fact of life.

Does it mention how many clicks/impressions are classed as "sufficient"?

I should of thought as long as you are making money your fine, if you are earning via Google adsense, you are making them money :)

I think I should step up the game and get some more sites up and running. I have one in my account so far making about $2-$5 a day.

That sucks. That is the reason I quit using CJ. The worse thing with Google is that no where do they tell you how many you have to have in the two months to avoid them dropping you. They do guarantee if you have more than $10 they will pay you if they terminate your account. If you have less than $10 you lose it.

I guess they have their reasons but I think it is crap to do to the small publishers. I make most my money elsewhere but the few bucks from Adsense is nice. I guess many will look for other sources.

The issue with smaller sites could be avioded, just don't put adsense on until the site has developed and began to get some decent traffic. Maybe that's their aim.

Do you think if you have one site doing well and one not doing so well they will boot the one lacking in clicks/earnings or let you off?

These types of terms are put in so that they ARE subjective, so they are able to get rid of small publishers with questionable websites that they don't want running their service. I wouldn't worry about it.

That notice has been in their TOS for years. It isn't anything new. While they reserve the right to terminate the account, they haven't terminated accounts for low impressions or clicks.

why does google make the payment minimum 100 dollars. I think that is too much. they should make it 20 dollars. I glance through the tos can you say where it says minimum clicks/impressions.

Instead of working off hearsay and the wealth of "expert" opinion available on this forum, if you are concerned then why not just contact AdSense support as get clarification?

Not having and minimum amount in the TOS and not enforcing it would be stupid. Why would google want to spend money on accountants, book keeping, time and postage to send some 12 year old a check 2 dollars over 5 months for his/her look at my puppy website. If anything enforcing it more helps everyone who is over the minimum amount as it lowers googles overhead.
