Hi there, I didn't try to make some panic but only my panic. I've read through this adsense forum and found some thread that complain about worthless adsense frome some advertiser whom put their ads on adwords. Begin from fraud clicks and advertiser have to pay for ads that much less converting than money that they've to paid for. What do you think?

    Regards,
    Sxperm

I think the benefits outweigh those complaints by a long shot.

I think the end is close. Google's empire will collapse soon and we'll all have to find a job once again.. :(

That it was I'm afraid of. I wonder with whom click on ads, Did they think it's a benefit or by accident. If by accident that meant they'll not stay long on destination ads lead them to. I don't know if advertiser known what they pay is for traffic that comes from acctidential clicks and no interesting on sites they landed.

I think its a great project i use adsense and adwords, as google grows bigger, you can see them moving into video streaming etc, not sure it will crumble over night, and with the pace of the net and people looking for webmasters to promote there links etc, I am sure there will still be a place for you, and others alike, so dont panic stay focused and change when needed.

Some of us did actually sell advertising space before google came along and made it altogether very easy for us, I do think the sites included in the google adsense network should be individually vetted more but it will survive in some shape/form, it does account for most/all of google's income.

As long as the net remains public and live AS will continue to grow. It is bogus MFA publishers that may die.

Yes, adsense is doomed. Do not bother joining or placing ads on your site anymore. ;) ;) ;)

I'm not going to let this apply to me. There are multiple ways to make money online other than adsense. There are affiliate programs and freelance work, as well as other ways. You have to do your homework.

I don't know whether to agree of disagree. Advertising will always be available in some form of fashion, and Google is a leader with Adsense. However, with the drop in earnings I've had over the last two weeks with adsense, it is hard for me to disagree with you. At the same time, earnings is earnings, and it applies to my yearly income.

Adsense earnings will probably decline in the long term as many more publishers enter. I remember when Adsense was introduced people were making $2 clicks consistantly for 'high paying words' That no longer works as I can attest to.

It is simply law of supply and demand here. The number of new publishers and websites is exceeding the number of new advertisers.

I have seen increase in earnings but mostly by building more sites and traffic; not higher EPC.

I don't know if I fully agree. Adsense is directly related to Adwords, and both are the cutting edge of internet advertising. In fact, most advertising on the internet is on the cutting edge.

There are webmasters here at DP who make really good money using Adwords, while others make good money with Adsense. Adsense will evolve, but it will not die, because internet advertising is the way of the future.

Besides, as long as you have websites which get lots of traffic, there will be ways to monetize that traffic. There are webmasters here making thousands a month in Adsense, and that probably includes the owner of this forum.

They won't tell me their secrets, but I WILL figure them out. Sooner before later. I don't blame them for not sharing their secrets, because they do not want competition.

I have some pretty neat idea I'm considering right now. I think there may be a way to evolve, and I was watching something very interesting today about Bit Torrent.

YPN seems to still in beta but any word on when MSN is going to launch their network. You have to assume that when more people enter the marketplace your marketshare can only go down, unless the PPC industry is growing faster that the growth of the competitors.

Google is smart enough to find some other ways to make money. It is going to get really interesting when the big 3 really start fighting it out and all of the other networks are running at full force.

Adsense is not going to be ruined - as fraud will increase, more sophisticated ways will be invented to beat it.

hehe, I'm just kidding, of course not!
Google will continue to fight with click fraud and even now it's not that widely spread, in fact very very few people are practicing it and almost all of them get cought.
As long as adsense is good for both advertisers and publishers it will stay.

Even though there're too many scrapers now, they are profitable for all, including advertisers too.

Adsense may or may not die but if it does then other forms of advertising will evolve at a faster pace . We already see click per action ...
    No fraud clicks there.

google's own websites already make up more than half of their earnings... and the income from google's sites has grown far faster, than the income growth from adsense publishers like us.

think about it... there isn't much overhead with adsense, when you don't have to pay adsense publishers... google just serves it up on their own sites, with a much bigger profit margin.

that's where they are concentrating on growing the business, not with us... so you need to diversify to protect yourself.

unlike google, yahoo and msn make huge $$$ as portals that serve up advertising... google does not have any portals, although maybe google video will become something one of these days? just don't put all your eggs in one basket.
