I'm thinking to advertise a site on perez, but prices are too spicy to just go blind and hope traffic will convert! Anyone else bought from him and can tell me some numbers and what the traffic was after? pls help me :-s

I had a friend who did a market research and looked it over for about 2 weeks with his media kit etc also and you need to have the exact right niche for it to work because if it is something legit then stuff he says on his blog and other advertisements can hurt your brand. From what my friend told me from asking a past advertisers on his site is that the traffic didn't convert well at all and it was an insanely low CTR.

I've been wondering about that myself. From what I've heard (on this forum and other places) it doesn't sound terrific. Is there anybody out there with a truly positive Perez experience?

do you think a site in the same niche (celebrity news) can be considered the 'right niche'? I would like to steal some of his readers :)

More then likely no that is like advertising ice cream inside Dairy Queen, they are already there and the goods are in front of them why go to another place that isn't proven.

Didn't you just sum up the internet, everyone has competition, if you're too scared to tackle your opposition and competitors then you're in the wrong game - seriously. That's the kind of thought process that stops webmasters from proceding and making money online.

Every niche has competition - the trick is to stand out as a website or in the ad' itself, Perez doesn't offer everything or everything that the visitors and readers want.

No the problem is webmasters are not getting ahead because they are not thinking of it like a real business. There are so many other ways you could spend the outrageous amounts for his advertising to even take out advertising in print or put it towards good marketing and SEO where you are going to get a return. The whole thing with celebrity blogging is that it is a saturated market and to stand out you need to try other things not advertise on a big bloggers website which I am not sure they will even let you do anyways as many places will not let their competitors advertise on there websites
