Ok, for religion homework I have to survey 10 people about Jesus. I'd love to give you guys some rep if you can help me on this one

The question is: Who is Jesus for you?

Not looking for essays, just simple responses. Your help is highly appreciated.

iam a Hindu but i would say everyone is equal like Jesus/allah/Hindu Gods. You should have faith.

To me Jesus is just a belief, or for that matter any GOD you worship.

 

As a Muslim myself, I believe that Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) is the Messenger of Allah who had many miracles like being born without a father, talking in the cradle, not dying on earth, being guarded and guided by the holy spirit all the time, etc.. I have full respect to him, I believe that he fulfilled the holy mission that was was assigned to him and I consider him a model for tolerance and mercy.

I was never brought up to believe nor did we go to church every sunday...

I wondered as most young people do, then as the years went by I doubted...

To this Day I still have my doubts as my travels through life always confronted me with the Proof of things that were in my life...

So I can not give you an answer other than if there is something after this life on Earth then I hope to find out what it is...

 

That is the main difference between Islam and Christianity. Islam says: There is no God but one, Allah. Mohamed, Isa (Jesus), Mousa (Moses), Noah, Ibrahim (Ibraham), and all prophets are his messengers to people. They are humans, just like us, who were chosen by Allah to deliver his message to people. None of the prophets is a god. None of them can predict the future (they only know some when Allah tells them - usually for religious purposes). But some of them were provided miracles, from time to time, that helped the non believers believe.

To me,

Jesus is the face and identifiable characterization of a humanized form of an omnipotent being created by wiser-than-though beings who saw the obvious need for a mechanism to control chaos by providing a perceived purpose greater than ourselves giving us a de facto reason for being. What's disturbing to me is that we needed such a method in place to begin with. Are we as mankind truly so flawed as to be completely incapable of living a fulfilling life for the sake of preserving existance that we need to 'be' for a reason greater than ourselves. If so, why are we? Why are 'we'?

 

Hi, Jesus is God who showed us the path of tolerance. When ever you are in a tight spot in life, just close your eyes and pray him, you will find him with you..ALWAYS to guide and help you out
