    does buying like 1000 backlinks of sites work or does it have no effect since most if not all of the sites are unrelated to yours? i see these offers all the time and tons of people on here are buyin em. whats your input?

    I think search engines prefer a slow build up of links over time. Submit articles, submit your site to directories and post comments forums and blogs.

    IMO I think it has to do with the site your linking to, and where the link is located. Also your link title has to draw someone into your site.
