Can we make text links from tracking URLs and still get credit?

I was looking at running the GameFly offer on a few of my websites and I saw that it was offered through popups and flash.

So my question is, can I just use the tracking URL and make a text link and still get credit?

That's pretty cool. Does it still put a cookie on their machine for a certain amount of time etc?

I haven't had any experience with affiliate programs. I've pretty much previously run most of my sites with CPC ads.

 

Anyone know? I just want to make sure I don't run a campaign based on using the tracking link as a text link and end up not getting credited.

 

Your question was already answered. Yes you can. The image itself doesn't set the cookie, the click on the link does.
