OS X -- Virus free, spyware free, true plug and play, great help and support (not that you'd ever need it)

Guess you havnt been to the Mac store lately because I would not call $599 stupidly expensive at all. On the other hand, I could make the argument that $5k is a bit pricey for a PC. I guess it depends on what features you want..

my fully loaded 24" widescreen High-Def iMac was just over $2k.. a comparable Dell was about $1899.. But if you factor in the need to purchase lifetime Virus and Spyware protection (not necessary on my Mac), and factor in the time and productivity lost fussing with all that PC stuff (blue screens, virii, spyware, things that just don't work), I'd say that $2k was quite a deal..

didnt mean to hiJack the thread - just another few reasons why OSX is my choice - and, it's not stupidly expensive as incorrectly posted above..

go to "START">>"Run">>"MSCONFIG" and hit enter. Change your startup stuff (disable all but like the sound stuff. Restart and boom, it's much faster than vista ultimate)

I have been using Windows Vista 64-bit ultimate. I just love it. I believe Vista 64 bit the best operation system ever.
