I was installing a small Referral MOD for phpbb and finally got confused.
Now i get this message when someone clicks on register button

Whenever I run into a problem like this, I always reverse what I've done and then go over the steps carefully and try again. It always helps to re-read the steps you went through, see if you missed something. You could also make a post on the phpbb support forums, there are more experienced phpbb forum managers there.

Try replacing the usercp_register.php file with a fresh copy, or backup copy. Then if there is anything that needs to be added from the mods, add them one piece at a time.
