Image question

    i have a recipes blog.If i write a recipe for say .....french fries,what should i save the image of french fires as?.................french fries.jpg or frenchfreis.jpg??I hope underscore is not allowed in saving images right?or will it be french_freis.jpg or french-fries.jpg ???

    if underscore does not allowed then you can use hyphen(-) its ok. But it does matter there you are using hyphen or not. You can have a direct name also. don't worry

    Hi,

    You can use frenchfreis.jpg or french-fries.jpg. I don't think there is will any problem so don't worry.

    You can use hypen in your image... or use alt attribute in your image tag...
    SE can't read image, only text....

    IMO I think you should care about alternate text more than the name of the file.

    <img src="/fries.jpg" alt="Yummy French Fries"></img>

    it doesn't matter to SEs if you're using hyphens or not. Just include the KWs that describes the image
