here's the background im a system builder (computers) and would like a site similar to "pcspecialist.co.uk" i would the the same functionality i.e be able to make custom items (computer builds) and adding them to cart. but i would like a completely different -unique design. and a CMS so i can change simple things if need be, im currently learning HTML + PHP, but i do not have enough knowledge to do the task i set myself -silly me questions welcomed -mitch Stringer Systems
Well the first part (Intel vs AMD) and the budget type part would have to be coded. But the final phase should be covered by the PC Creator OSCommerce Addon. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/3282 How easy that is to configure etc, would be a good question. Might get better results if you posted this in the Services category.
3 days and 14 posts to go eh? Do you have a site up already or not? Or a design even? It might be cost effective to break it down into stages.
If you can't find anyone on here you could try CambrianHouse, they have a lot of crowdsourcing types on stand by looking for work. I dont work for them, just a tip.
There are a bunch of plugins to osCommerce that might be of help just dig though them and you can find all sorts of stuff. John
