Yeah, that's where I saw her at for the last couple days, including today, and then it was almost like I watched it happen. Boom. Page 3.

Interesting fluctuation, as the RCG domain DOES have the most backlinks out of the top 7 or 8 results I checked today, by far.

Perhaps that spammy sig link Blogmaster has did the trick...

Although it makes me think twice about entering the contest (I'm not an agent), when you're throwing 20k links Eric's way, and that's just 1 of 10/11 people optimizing.

Still, I don't think DP sig links throw a lot of weight around, although this thread might help you. Of course, I just keep adding to the post/page count for it...

 

It's a combination of many things. It's great to be a part of a team sharing resources from all over and making it happen.

 

You are right Mike - this is a lot of fun and it is cool to see what everyone brings to the table.

Yeah, I wonder how much DP links benefit us. I believe that links within content/context are actually the strongest. I have experimented with www.frogengine.net before and outranked many just with that.
That one ranks for that seocontest2008 on page 3 now.
Seems that there are tons of factors playing a role in what ranks and what doesn't.

Yeah, for the past 2 days or so.

 

The number of results are bouncing around wildly, too. It was about 450k just the other day; now I see 823k. I believe it made a similar jump (and then came back down) several days ago.

Just odd.

 

Our page has been bouncing around quite a bit, then it disappeared and then finally reappeared on the second page. I didn't realize how competitive this was going to be We actually hard to start pointing some solid links at our page to try and get it back in the top 10
