Greetings. Yesterday I got banned from Google..I dont know why..I did not click my ads, and according to themself they said my website was approved (www.devyourweb.com). When I tried to log in it was just like "Your account is unactived, please check your mail for further information". I thought WTF and logged on to my my mail. Opened the mail from Google..they wrote something like "Your account is unactivated. Please understand we are doing this to protect our Adwords Advertisers." Basically, thats the only thing they wrote regarding my suspending. Was that really any addition information? NO! Anyway, I was really curious, so I contacted them (as mentioned in the email: "For any further questions, please use this form to contact us". I sent a mail to the support (via Google.com's contact form regarding such problems), I explained everything very well that I did not know why I happened to get suspended. I wrote ALOT of plain good text, really, I did my best to explain the situation. After one day, they replied, and this is the most lame part. In this mail, they wrote the same thing as in the first mail: "Your account was suspended. Please understand we are doing this to protect our Adwords Advertisers." Are they just kidding with me? If u didnt get my point here: they couldnt even mention why I got suspened, not even tho I wasted 15 minutes of my time to send them an explanation. Maybe it's just me, but this was a really poor move from Google.
Not even a reason? Well I guess it is time to search for a new alternative, I feel that it is a bit high handed, won't hurt them to give a reason to their own publishers right?
Am I not allowed to discuss google adsense in this forum or what? I know I might sound like a little baby but I don't really care. I want to hear what people think about this. anyway fellow that comment u just posted was totally useless @wisdomstol got any advice of great programs?
Maybe you can send again an email, and ask them to clear the reason for being banned? Google has strong TOS, many rules.. Cant they just send an information wich of the rules were broken ?
Not really into this field, I am a lousy webmaster, so not much help, the only one that comes to my mind was Adbrite, but I guess other members would have much better experiences, you may want to check out the other forums like clickbank etc. I am sure there are members inside the forums who are willing to share their experiences. Best wishes on getting a good adverts program to join in.
Exactly man. We are smart enough to figure they can't spoil their whole tracking system, but come on, they could tell us what rule we did break. Anyway, I think I wont send them an email again, it's just pure waste of time. I will make a new account at Adsense or try any other programs.
I would seconded sending them an email to appeal. One thing is on the whole Adsense still pay the best and is the most organized. But in the meantime during your appeal, try out the rest of the programs.
making another account will not help... because adsense will not approve it if accidentally they approve it then afterwards you will be banned again... so my suggestion would be to go with other programs as adbrite etc...
its sucks that you got banned even before you can show their ads. it might happened because other people use your info to apply for adsense? anyway about alternative i think you can try adbrite.
I think normally they tell the reason why you were suspended...any way just contact they another one time ,if u don't get a positive reply better shift to a different advertiser
Try to contact them again at the other time, If your message got read by a happy Google person, you may get your account back.
IF Google bans you WITHOUT a reason, do you have any legal rights ? Can you sue ? Is it legal for Google to do that ?
Does your friends and relative helps you to click on those ads without your notice? If this is the case, Google might have thus ban your account....
The issue here is the OP have not even had a reason given to him. I mean if it is what you suggested, Adsense should have at least indicated that it is due to invalid clicks, but for this case, no reason was given.
