Domain regged til 10/2006 - I will assist with a free push to the same registrar or to a new registrar at the buyers expense.

This is an seo content and tools site that runs on the Joomla platform.

I've done zero promotion yet I've had 3 paid memberships in the past month and a half for a total of $45. Memberships are processed by paypal and the flow needs no work by the site owner as the Joomla payment module fires off confirmation and welcome emails once they pay. It's my first Joomla site and it won't be my last.

I've recently be pulled in the direction of two large projects so I'm trying to lighten the number of sites that I'm carrying while freeing up some hosting space etc. To be honest, I bought the site a while back, moved it over to my server, and have done nothing with other than remove the prior owners banners and paypal code.

I've set up a test account for you to use:
    name: guest
    pass: temppass

Future pagerank guestimate for those that care:

    February
    http://www.imagecabin.com/?view=3320078X0n3trRKfM25d4y

With some more tools and promtion the site could do quite well and the Joomla system would make it easy for the new owner to give authoring rights to hired writers while making the site mostly 'hands off'.

For those of you that love an easy transfer... YES the site is on Cpanel :)

Starting bid: $150 - much less than I paid

    Payment via paypal please.

Guess you guys know me from most of the boards. If I can answer any questions you might have please feel free to ask. I'd also be willing to help with the move if someone is interested but might not feel comfortable with the tech side of things.

I have posted this on NP as well and will do my best to keep any bids updated or close one location if the interest is uneven between he two locations.

Thank you all for the bids.

tstaut, thank you for pointing out that I did not specify an end time. The auction will end this Friday at 10pm EST.

joaquin, the domain is regged at website.in I had no problem having the domain pushed to me so I'd expect that it would be a similar easy process this time as well. As mentioned I'll assist in a transfer to the buyers registrar but the buyer pays the transfer fee of course.

Greg-J, The template is not custom. I did a little poking around when I bought the site and found that it was a theme from a site called rockettheme.com They offer themes on a membership basis and this was the theme from November 2005. They have a theme viewer if you go to their site and check it out. For the benefit of those that are not familiar with Joomla, you have the ability to change themes via the admin panel much as you can with other applications like wordpress.

The question about the template brings up something that I'll toss out in case the future owner is interested. My original idea was to add new content to the site on a regular basis much like a magazine or print publication. I found a site, http://www.ijoomla.com that offers a magazine component that is quite nice. It allows for the archiving of prior editions which seems pretty cool and would have applied quite well with my prior plans.

Lots of PM's and questions about a BIN. Seems like I always regret naming one but I'll say $450.

Timestamp will determine winning bid if necessary.

Thanks to everyone for their bids.

webmasta, you are the highest right now at $250

I don't like seeing this many brand new people all selling/bidding on something. Makes me nervous. Specially with the shill bidding ring that was just posted about the other day.

Still, I'd like to know if that template is unique to this site or if there are other people using it as well.

EDIT: nvm, we posted at the same time. Thanks for the info.

Hi Greg. I can understand your concern but I'm not new on the boards. Check out my screen name at sitepoint or namepros and you'll see nothing but smooth transactions where I am the buyer and seller. Nothing shady going on here :)

veyril and ant are bidding from the same IP address.(Its only one ip so doesn't *seem* to be dynamic) No-one else in the thread including the OP has that same address so I will leave it up to those involved to figure out whats up.

Please don't give the OP any bad rep as they may have nothing to do with it.

    Cheers
