    Among many other things, if you want to apply for DMOZ editor, you must say whay.

    Please let me know some decent reasons you think that can be a plus for the applicant.

    I joined for the Community! Honestly...

    Mainly for my community (as in occult forums, not just my forum, as I am a member of several). I also had hopes of becoming a part of another, but that kind of fell through (and that should likely stay out of this thread)

    We had dental plan? Drat and double drat... now I'll have to kiss butts to get back in so I can fix my teeth which got very bad from all that booze and junk food I ate while partying at Playboy Mansion to which all DMOZ editors get 24 hour access. :cool:

    Wait a minute... we had access to the Playboy Mansion? Uh oh... I just made a huge error. :rolleyes:
    I was willing to do without the dental plan, but this sheds a whole new light on things.

    FWIW, I'm gonna break tradition and skip the obligatory phase where I spend months or years in here lamenting my exit and whining about evils.
    There are still plenty of good folks there, just 1 less.

    Most editor probably do, we belong to some obscure occult communities nobody cares about and we want to promote them to gain new followers I'm mean members. ;)

    There are no particularly right or wrong answers to that question. Editors join for many reasons. The most important feature of that question is the opportunity it gives you to demonstrate your honesty.
