dunno from last 2 days since i started using Stumbleupon my earnings fell b4 i used to earn arnd 4-5$ per days and now its arnd 1-2 and i think its all because of SU
Well most likely you have a poor ad placement and stumble traffic SUCK, and when i mean it sucks i mean IT really sucks. Be carrefull with that kind of traffic, not very adsense queen
hmm... you need to improve your ads placement and find better traffic quality. For example, here is my stats of yesterday: 6XX impressions / 2X clicks = 5,XX $US Code (markup): My traffic sources (top 3): google (organic) / 356 Visits / 79.46% (direct) ((none)) / 48 Visits / 10.71% yahoo (organic) / 13 Visits / 2.90% Code (markup): Organic traffic is the best source which convert.
I think its very difficult to determine the pattern. One cannot know who is the visitor and how he will act on your website.
i m working of SEO these days and its working out as well my google traffic is increasing day by day and i removed SU button and lets see what happens now coz my ad placement is fine because it used to get me alot of clicks+revenue b4 i added the SU button
500 impresions is not so much Plus you sad stumble traffic ? that's crap get targeted traffic don't lie yourself with crap traffic that doesn't convert ....
You must seriously have a content issue if your getting that little money for all those impressions. I could earn over 80.00 with 500 impressions on my site. You need to rearrange your ad placements and perhaps more advertisement to your website. Those are seriously pitiful numbers. Please check out my recent post. "How to make 200.00 a day in two weeks with adsense. Read up.
My thoughts exactly. So many threads stating their impressions and crappy payout. They have nothing to do with each other. Hell, I've been fixing one of my sites for 2 hours now. I'm sure I racked up 60-70 impressions just by fixing the design. Out of those 500 who knows how many are from you alone.
No impressions don't have anything to do with clicks but no matter what the traffic, impressions count for CTR. So if you're getting huge amounts of impressions with no clicks you're doing something really wrong. It all depends on what your purpose for the website is. If the purpose of your site is to sell affiliate products then you should be focusing on getting the affiliate sale as opposed to getting the click. The click in essence means the visitor doesn't find your content appealing and wants to leave. So you have to tailor your content around what you're marketing. Seems like a basic principle but a lot of people fail at it.
