I just noticed that if i am using red color here on DP i will increase my CTR from my signature.

The red color it's getting other forum guys attention , because it's like jumping in your eyes, you known? (DP it's all open green and black text)

I am asking myself, having an website with a nice open color (maybe even white ) background and black/blue text-color, and some boldted red adsense codes, will this increase the CTR?!

i've tried contrasting colors (red, yellow, etc), and it never made a detectable difference for me... BUT.. you should try it and see how it works for you..

I actually work with color complements. When designing a new site, I do some research on what colors work with one another and see examples of color schemes.

Color schemes are DAMN important. It just depends on how you work with them. Like when people say blend blend blend! It really depends-> if you have a pastel colored site, you can NOT blend and make your ads look pretty nice and noticeable.

I think this is one of the trickier areas of maximizing attention to your adsense ads. I try all types of color combinations including traditional blue. I use complementary colors, same link colors as those on the sites, etc. And then I change those schemes from time to time.

I have begun to think that most of the time it makes little difference, but in some niches, say finance websites, the more formal "blue" is a plus.

My other conclusion is that it is important that your color scheme makes the ads findable, while still making the site overall look "good."

By the way, I do use reds on several sites/pages. And I will continue to change things around in the future. :i

Ain't that the truth. My wife's website is a pastel green with light orange links. It is almost impossible to find something that blends with that and is still even visible.

Yeah, colors do have a impact on visitors. High contrast color can attract or even distract potential clickers.

You won't know how it'll turn out until you give it a try.
