Draw a Clickable Line

    Is is possible with SVG, VML, or anything else to draw a line on the screen and have that line react to mouse clicks and/or mouseovers? I know I could "draw" it by stretching a transparent gif of a line and reacting to clicks on that, but what I'm wanting to make would have multiple overlapping lines, and I'm afraid that whichever image was on top would block the rest.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
