How long does a site take to get crawled?

  1. #1
    I made a new blog about 2 days ago and I posted a Call of duty 4 review and a counter-strike 1.6 guide.
    My blog's url is http://gamingchronicle.blogspot.com/
    The adsense ads are only showing PSA.

    So my question is how long does a site take to get crawled by the adsense crawler.

    I've never heard of it taking longer than 24-48 hours.

    News flash, you don't need backlinks for the AdSense bot to crawl your website.

    "some keyword" site:yourblog.com in google

    try to add your url to google here google.com/addurl

    Use meta keywords and descriptions, that will help Adsense Bot to crawl your site properly.
    And use section targeting.

    My experience has been that the site is crawled within 30 minutes of adding the ads. So, it is likely that you did not have enough (textual) content.

    My own blog (on blogger) gets crawled almost immediately by Google. It seems to have good targetting of ads too, so my best advice would be - build the blog and have 10-15 posts of good content, THEN ADD THE ADSENSE CODE.
