Will a cartoon niche pay high?

I'm planning on starting a cartoon niche blog. I was wondering whether the CTR and the $/click would be too low

Use adwords external tool.

 

If you dont know how to use, type in the phrase, click get keyword ideas. Below 'get keyword ideas' click drop down box and select average estimated cpc.

 

I checked for u, cartoon does not have a very high cpc, I found disney cruise for $16.17/ click.

ah well, cartoons (or the whole entertainment niche) normally pays very low.

 

It's not a good niche if Google has no ad inventory for that niche. Here's a simple test: go to Google and search on the keyword "cartoons". Look over on the right side of the results page to see the Adsense ads for that keyword. When I checked, there was only a single ad, which probably only pays a few cents because there's no competition.

You should go ahead with your cartoon site if that is what you like, but don't expect to make any money from Adsense. Find some other way to monitize the site.
