Yes... Do one for: mccoy pottery We come up Number 1 We have about 5 other kw's that rank up in the top 10 or less.
oh dear..never noticed before that you were on the ' MESO' adsense wagon RESPECT: hard to get....so easily lost 'McCoy pottery'...'Meso'...yup,i can see the connection
Bandwagon or not, it works.. I've got to find some way to continue to support the site. In any event the article yielded quite a response from the 3000+ members of the site. There has been quite a bit of feedback and discussion regarding the topic. If you read the article, you can see the connection: http://www.mccoypottery.com/news/articles/mesothelioma.html Anyway, whatever works
My girlfriend uses that button. Then it's funny when it's not what she wants and she gets frustrated. I shouldn't laugh at her for something so simple, but I do anyway
Nah, I have something funnier. I have a friend that until a year ago, used to go directly to a search engine first, then enter www.domain.com in the search engine, then click on the link in the seach engine to get to a web site. Hmmm.. Anyway.
Its scary how many people do that. When one of my sites was first launched, someone emailed me to tell me that the url wasn't working. After emailing back and forth (Yes, they somehow figured out how to email), I found out they thought they type the url into google (that was set as their home page) and because the site wasn't indexed yet they didn't find it. After I told them where they should type it, They thought it was great Microsoft had added a little bar at the top.
i'm laughing - but at the same time i have a sneaky feeling i used to do similar things when i first started using the internet
Its like everything. I can remember paying to submit my site to 5 million search engines...Ouch Its always funny to look back knowing what you do now.
I use it occasionally, just for fun. I remember a few years ago I had posted a complaint about the Jewelry Exchange at diamondtalk. (bad experience with buying an engagement ring). It ended up being the top hit if you googled "tustin jewelry exchange", and of course the "I'm feeling Lucky" link. I heard from 4 different friends that they hit "I'm feeling lucky" and ended up reading my post. (which didn't have personal info, but everyone knew my story). I'd say a lot of people use that button. I mean, I can tell you I don't know many more than 4 people who would have been searching for that particular phrase.
I bought my mom a computer for Christmas last year. It was her first time ever having one, so I was teaching her the basics. Granted we had had a computer for years when I was living at home, I was the only one who used it. It was "fun" to see that she typed her URL's into google to go to them. However, what got me most of all was that I somehow failed to mention to her that she had to be online to check her email. She kept telling me she wasn't getting any. I really couldn't laugh. I love Mom! I guess I/We really take for granted our knowledge of things like this. Matt
I have only used the 'feeling lucky' button once back when "miserable failure" was the big deal back several years ago.
Try Google Suggestions and start with www or http... You will see how many people search for domains!
