I had Started an phpLD Powered Web Directory and another Jobs related website ( Wordpress Powered) on a same day couple of months before..also I am start submitting my Directory website to other directory websites to getting backlinks and improve PR..In last Big G PR Update My directory Gets PR2 But not for subpages ..Even the page is static...For example my directory submit page not even PR0...mydirectoryname.com/submit.php For this directory i have Big G backlinks 30+ through web Directories.. But my wordpress powered Site had PR1 for all pages..even i didt do directory submissions and no backlinks at all.. It makes Strongs my opinion phpLD powered sites (Possibly)Flagged by Big G...
This is nonsense. The reason you have no PR on your inner pages it might be because you have no content, nothing else but a bunch of links while on your blog I suppose you have content on every page. Try adding useful content on your categories and also try doing a bit of deep link building
i think and i noticed that, after the last update a lot directories lost the inner pr, but not only directories, normal websites too, IMHO i think google made it extra hard to have inner Pr, IMHO this is another move from google to fight paid links.
Since you seems to be so interested on my inner PR , I'd recommend you to do a search before you ask. Last time when I checked there were quite a few (20 -30) pages. Here is a tool to make your search easier just in case you may be to lazy to do it manually http://www.livepr.info/internal-pages-page-rank.php If yesterday I have advised you to read, read, read...before you post, post, post...today I'll give you another piece of advice... search, search, search...before you post, post, post... Hope this helps
Like loredan said, duplicate content. Supplemental style pages with the same content as other categories (ie <10 listings and no articles) face this problem
I think with the last PR update something was done to make it much harder for subpages to have PR last year there were ALOT of directories with inner PR on empty categories
Hi 1) did you submit your sitemap.xml to google? 2) what is amount of link popularity and search engine index? 3) do you have robots.txt page and submited to google webmaster tool? it is all depend on those three answers. reply us those answers
Google has obviously made changes because all manner of web sites were hit at one level or another. I have my theories as to why, but until I have something to back them up I will keep them to meself I watched a Video today which msolution gave the link to in another thread (cant find it now grrrr!) with Cutts being interveiwed at PubCon.... it shed some light on the last round of PR updates and how a round of penalties were given out and then a few days later the main PR update was run. I will let you think about the rest.
Actually it would take some time to get PR on your inner pages also.... You can get some PR on inner pages only by next update
