Yah, not the latest, CS1, also known as photoshop 8. To cut a long story short, I don't like using cracked software, but I'm poor. I've been trying to find a genuine license for photoshop 7/8 since I started using a trial (I prefer the older, simpler version tbh), and now the trial is coming to an end. I was wondering if anyone could advise me as to where I can find a legal genuine photoshop CS license, and packaging, box etc, that can be mailed to me. I'd also like to make it very clear that I'm NOT interested in purchasing knock off disks with illegal software on them. I will report EVERYONE who offers to sell me knock off disks. There's +rep in it for anyone who can help me Thanks!
Have you tried asking at a photoshop forum? someone may have lying around what you need. And hopefully your message of dont offer me cracked copies isn't a secret code for offer me cracked copies.
I can't suggest where to buy it, can only suggest you may want to try using GIMP which is the open source alternative to it.
I do use GIMP, it is great, I just really like some of the render effects on PS, and its' what I use in col for my gfx course Nope, it's not secret code, I honestly meant it If i needed cracked software, I know where to go, but I like genuine stuff
I'm after an older version, because I'm poor It looks like I'm going ot have to get some work, and earn CS3 :S
I contacted Adobe a while back, asked them. They said they didn't sell any old copies - however they gave me a list of resellers in my country (Norway) - so I contacted all of them - a lot of stores. However, no one had older copies anymore, as they told me they could ship the old versions back to Adobe and replace them with newer versions. I bought Creative Suite CS3 - Design Standard, worth every penny in my opinion, allthough I had to dig deep into my pockets and lower my other costs for a while. So no movies, parties, expensive food, clothes or anything else for that matters for a while An alternative can be to purchase a student version? If you go to college or something though... When I was at university i bought 3D Studio Max for next to nothing - however the program just stopped working after a couple of years, the license had run out
Pity I heard of some second hand software stores online, purchased from them before but cant find that email, if I found it will pass the url to you. If any member had any info of those 2nd hand online software shops might as well send to OP?
youre trying your best... you tried ur best no offence... get a serial key from a friend.. [ a friend like me ] i don't think guys at adobe give a damn about old softwares they no longer sell... justa suggestion...
