    I should agree with you. Some of my friends from the North use much more abusive words in Hindi between them just like we do in our languages. Yes, you can't take the words literally. When we are not a native speaker of the language, we simply won't get the practical meaning (If anybody have used "Teri maa ki" against me, I would've offended as I'm not a Punjabi!) :)

    Of course under pressure to perform and win, a player may not know (or care to reveal) whether the ball touched the ground. For this reason such dubious catches should always be referred to the Thrid Umpire.
