You are wanting to get people who are native English writers and as such, they may be from the UK or the USA and will look at their employee rights... you don't want freelancers and therefore it is a full-time job you are offering.

If you are not offering pension/medical and other rights with the job, then do not expect anyone from the USA or UK to apply... as they will not be covered and may end up paying higher tax on the income as it could be classed as 2nd income (if they have an existing part-time job).

Your attitude in hiding the facts of the employment has certainly meant that any sane person from the USA or the UK would not consider this work as you are hiding too much important information and unwilling to answer the questions that were asked.

How will you deal with an employee in the case of them not being able to produce 28 articles per day?

Why are you not wanting to answer the question? Are you wanting them to work for 1 month and then find an excuse not to pay them?

Unless you answer the questions I have raised in the thread, it certainly seems that you are not willing to pay for the work.

edit: I would have been interested in the idea of salaried monthly income if I knew exactly what was involved and had questions answered. The fact that it is 200-250 words per article would make the level of research required quite minimal and could become workable. However, without full clarification on the working conditions and long-term benfits (pay rise/bonus payments/ incentive to produce etc), it isn't a job offer but a statement of demands for an ideal candidate that is a native English speaker but living in a low cost of living country. (The only possible applicants will be ex-patriots of native English speaking countries and some very educated Indian writers. I feel DP has enough quality Indian writers that it will be one of them that this is better suited to rather than anyone from UK, USA or Australia etc). It is simply the cost of living that dictates who could 'afford' to work at those rates.

    good points ganceann

You are asking someone to live off $18000 a year, which really is nothing...

and I don't care about ruining your thread, it deserves to be ruined because you as a businessman are a disgrace...

If you read my post again you will sure see that I wasn't contradicting you instead I was trying to read the poster's mind and his business plan. I have no doubt about his plan succeeding as long as there is market support, no matter from where.

Obviously this is an open discussion forum but none of the posts decried your offer. Anyways, I am standing out of this.

Just like "Ganceann" said I am from India and I can afford your pay. I will be working with my friend for this job. We both are about to graduate in English with C.S. Degree in a year. However I have certain demands which instead of PM I would like to post here for everyone's benefit.

    1. You must first clearly explain us as how many articles it will be total in a day.
    2. You must pay on daily basis for at least first 10 days. i.e. $50 per day
    3. If due to any reasons(health or personal problems) I am not not able to deliver you required number of articles in a day or by deadline how it will affect my pay ?

If you answer these questions and those suited me them I am readily interested in you.

I am interested, and here are a few details about myself:

(Have lived in the United States my entire life)

I have a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration of hours in English and Language Arts and a minor in Professional Education. I also have my Master's in Library and Information Science. While attending school I was the Webmaster for the ALA Student Chapter at LSU and taught a Computer Information Science class to undergraduates for two years at Louisiana State University. I am currently a respected teacher in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. I have published articles in the Young Adult Library Services professional journal.

However, I cannot do this job for less than $2,000 per month due to the daily workload involved. I know your budget is $1,000-$1,500...but I thought I would put my offer on the table for you to consider. Feel free to pm me or post here if you would like to discuss this any further.

    Thanks
