Google Indexes New Blogs With Few Delays

I started a new wordpress blog last week and wanted it to be indexed ASAP. I sent the sitemap in on my first day and didnt actually get indexed for about 1 full week.

 

By far the quickest way to get indexed is for google to find your link on another site.

 

I got my self-hosted word press blog indexed with my first post. I did not even link it anywhere. I was just setting up the blog and I did a search of Google for my domain and bam my first post was there. All my blogs seem to get hit often now days. Every post I write gets indexed quickly, normally with in hours.

I do think Google now favors blogs a bit.

 

New Blogger (Blogspot) blogs get indexed very quickly. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but it could have something to do with the fact that Blogger is owned by Google.

 

I have done tests on this and blogger blogs have been consistently harder to rank and take much longer to index than wordpress.

 

I put one up over a week ago and still nothing is showing.

 

I have no problems getting my wordpress blogs indexed.

The best way by far is to get linked from another indexed site.

 

yeah my blog also is on top for most posts made ..
but the problem i have is the website that i give in the post is not getting along with the posts...
earlier it was coming after the wordpress post...
Any changes in Google....???

 

but my blogspot.com test result make me no 1 in "permainan pemimpin" keyword in only half day..@ google.co.id

 

Now if that was for 'permanent pimpin' you would make a fortune

 

wordpress.com blogs index faster than blogspot blogs. Never more than 24 hours for me. The secret is to choose tags that are popular but not too popular. Google hangs out on those tag pages and picks you up very quickly.

 

Google gives importance to Blogs recently.

 

I have never had any problems getting my site indexed. Blogs, in Google terms are starting to be really important and are getting indexed faster than ever.

 

Blogspot blogs are indexed quickly....personal experience.

 

The easiest way I get indexed is to temporarily add my new sites' links to my main blog. Then I remove soon after. I haven't found sitemaps, etc. to be very effective in getting indexed fast.

 

If you have a blog with a good internal linking system in the form of tags and categories then you can get your new blog indexed very quickly with a post from an existing blog. Just link to the main page and a couple of internal pages. I actually maintain a blog specifically for this purpose. Indexed in 24 hours or less most of the time.

 

yeah thats absolutely true....i use the same tehnique...
But y do u state to use only not too popular tags ????
cos i use almost half of the tags from their home page

 

yeah.. google is indexing the new posts within a few minutes for my blog. Thats really amazing.
