Think of all the time you spend worrying abotu PR updates

I see all these PR update threads and I cant help but ask....

WHO CARES?

Think of all the time you spend checking PR prediction tools, datacenter pr check tools like McDar (a great tool), reading and posting here on DP and other forums --- I think the latest PR thread is somewhere around 20+ pages, and its only one thread.

All this for a little number that will be there for a few months probably.

Think about how much time you spent worrying about it and discussing it - now think about how many links you could have sought out and obtained in that same amount of time - links that would - ironically - made your PR higher.

Stop worrying about PR. Talking about it wont gain you anything. Just do what you do and let Google do their thing. Go out and promote your site, build your site, make it better - stop worrying about some little green bar. You'll win in the end with this advice.

Reminds me of when I was skiing!
Haven't been in years.

I think about PR because it helps me sell ad space and get more submissions on my directories

 

We go skiing 3 or 4 times/week, helps get my mind of the computer. 12 hours/day is enough.

 

That looks like a fun hill!

We have some pretty decent ones around here but there hasn't been enough snow this year to go.

The hill near my house ends in a lake and none of the lakes have been frozen either.

 

This one is on a ski hill near our house. They provide the tubes and there's a tow rope that pulls you back up. I went with a friend and all our kids, it was a blast.

Hey man, some of us have too crappy adsense so at least a pr update upgrade makes us happy hehe. I for my part worry about adsense but dont spend all day about it... i do my other work like a good lad. *gives himself a cookie*
