It is perfect for a blog. The size and shading of the header is like the default Wordpress header.

Using it for an image hosting site would make your site look too much like a blog.

 

That looks like a very good template, it would be good to see it live

Design and colors look good just wonder if the header itself may be a touch to large? Maybe? Maybe Not?

 

I like the design, may be it will be more appealing if green replacing with some thing else like more bright

I've never been a big fan of really big headers and top banners. it means that a user always has to scroll down to see the content on a page.

but maybe that is just me
