What is better for SEO - Using get or post?

Ok before you answer please read my question (rather than just the title :)).

Right now I'm modifying one of my game sites so it's possible to order the games by a number of different factors (rating, number of plays etc.).

So what I wanted to know is which of the following would be the best in terms of SEO for me:

    1. Using the get method, action games sorted by rating (ascending) could have it's own url, ie.

    sitename.com/action-games/rating/asc/

    2. Using the post method I believe I could make it:

    sitename.com/action-games/

Now I think that #2 would be better because it would mean there wouldn't be a bunch of pages on my site with duplicated content (albeit in a different order)..

..am I right? Anybody have any thoughts?

i m agree with your decision, as second option will also minimize the depth of page.

the 2nd option is much advisable to do...the lesser the depth of the page is, the better...

I've never heard the phrase "depth of page" before, what does it mean?

Anyway, looks like #2 is the way to go, I'll crack on with it :)

    id say go with "sitename.com/action-games/"
makes the address shorter and cleaner.
