hi, all sites which are being sandboxed by google are monitored for authenticity and are being kept in a different database in order to restrict it being displayed in Search results. It may take upto 4 months to get a clean chit from google, then it will start appearing in search results.
hi there thanks for your help but now i see its in results at top for this key word akshayy sony ericsson flashing what do you say about it ?? also top result for key word SE Flashing akshayy now what ?? is this good or bad ?? also the result for keyword akshayy is at last in 2nd page ! thanks a lot guys for your help !!
If a site is in Sandbox it will not be displayed in SERPs at all. But your site is ranking with some of the keywords(no matter it is generic or not) it means that you are not in sandbox at all. Do some optimization work and i am sure your website will start appearing in competitive keywords too.
gaining quality backlinks is a big help to get out and for the mean time optimize your site for yahoo and MSN since we all that these two SEs has no sandbox just like in google.
Is that really true? I thought that sites are only shifted further down within the SERPS. Maybe I´m wrong?
I think they are shown for certain searches, specifically for their direct name, even during the sandbox period
Getting inlinks from pages with high page rank helps. The google toolbar shows you the pagerank. If you email webmaster's with similar content and a decent pagerank and get them to post a link, that could help.
Sorry for my newbie question, but if a site (which previously was very high in the keyword search results) shows no pages in the site: search index, does that mean it is banned rather then being in the sandbox?
Not necessarily, If you are trading links with NO PR sites then that can effect your listing results , If you are submitting the same article to all the ezine sites , you can be docked for duplicate content. Get links from hi pr.
As per my knowledge, whatever i have noticed and studied throughout the web, A sandboxed Site do not appear in SERPs at all. If any corrections or update to my knowledge you can provide it will be appreciated.
if a website which was showing anywhere in SERPs and currently not showing even a single page index status with a site:domain.com then it must be banned. But if site:domain.com showing even a single page then the problem is with the codes that is on the page. Check that and correct that.
Sorry to interrupt you but Link exchange with No PR sites has really nothing to do with the rankings if the theme of the website is same. Exchanging links with a high PR sites having no relevancy with your site may lower down your ranking. Also the same article submission to various article directories do not harm as i have seen many article directories find himself the articles posted on other articles directories.
If it is ranking for this keyword it means that you can optimize the site for other competitive keywords too. Just go on with your SEO works with whatever the keywords you want your site to perform. Best of luck for your Good SERPs
Thank you. It looks like the site is banned. Perhaps I should start another thread, but one more question if I may, will Google ban sites without indicating to the web master why the site is banned?
Well, if your site is not anywhere in search engine listing on a particular keyword , it doesn't mean that it is banned. else, you need to go for optimization of website on a particular keyword. After seo efforts, you can find your site in search engine listing.
Sorry but I disagree. Your site will be displayed in SERPs soon after your site get indexed. People said sandbox effect is around 3-9 months because your new website can't rank in competitive keywords during that period. If you believe sandbox affected all listings in Google, that means you doesn't believe in sandbox. All websites always get listings soon after they get indexed by the spiders. For example: my domain name is: A.com, my website title is: "The complete resource for handphone, find it in A.com" Now, just a few days after my site get indexed, I will get rank for "A.com" although maybe it's not the first rank. Just a few weeks or one month after I optimize my site, I will get the first rank or at least the top 100 for keyword: "The complete resource for handphone, find it in A.com". However, you will be nowhere in your targeted keyword, let's say "buy handphone" until you get out from the sandbox. Usually after few months, you notice a huge SERPs change. If usually you check your site through geoseo.com and you see that your site is nowhere in the top 1000 for "buy handphone", after you get out from the sandbox, maybe suddenly your site rank is in the top 20. Of course this can happen if you know a lot about SEO and can adapt with new changes. I always experienced something like this, that's why I believe sandbox only affect important keywords, or at least keywords that have real visitors. I don't believe sandbox affects all listings in search engines.
