The India vs Australia 20/20 match has just started here in Melbourne.

India are the reigning World Champions but they're about to face a huge test at a packed MCG.

To all Indian cricket fans on DP, your team is about to get smashed!!! :D

Hahaha all over ... GO ! Aussies.

So much for world champs, Aussies just didn't take 20/20 matches seriously.

    Sehwag ... Quack, Quack.

What a waste of a 20/20 match and 3 hours of cricket.

Congrats Team India for putting up a spineless performance and for putting up your best to make this match least interesting you can.

Actually, the Indian batting did turn out to be pathetic. I wonder if the ploy by the Indian Cricket Board to bring the 20/20 players to Adelaide instead of getting valuable practice time in Melbourne was to blame. Politics in any game ruins it.

I thought their bowling showed some promise though. Some of the bowlers may give Australia a good workout in the One Day matches. I have no idea why Sreesanth went from Fast Bolwing to spin though. He looked to be doing quite well before the spins began.

Anyways, onto the One Day matches now!!

Yes hopefully the one-dayers are more competitive. And not playing Sachin...what were they thinking?!

I actually went to the game yesterday. I must say even though being an Aussie supporter I was a bit disappointed in how the final result panned out. I was expecting more from India and to see some real 20/20 action. Ahh well, hope the ODI series is a good one :)

The game ended too fast. I never managed to catch it in the first place, but looking at it later, it didn't make any difference.

If the Aussies couldn't win it for Gilly in his last test, they did do it for him in his last T20 game :)

The IPL isn't a contest between nations, is it ?

Even if he does play the IPL, it would not be for Australia right ?

I already expected some bad performance from this young team. It's not wise to experiment all the fresh players against Aussies. Their confidence level will surely fall down if they don't perform well. See Manoj Tiwari today, Lee was too hot for him to handle in his first international match. He has more than 55 average in domestic cricket. He hasn't got any practice at all and he was selected as a backup as a 16th player. Why should Dhoni select him ahead of Raina and Kartik? Dhoni should also concentrate on batting order. Uthappa is an opener. In the worst case he should bat at number 3/4. He batted at 7th position today. What's the point in it?

Indian bowlers did very well especially Sreesanth and Ishant. Our top order collapsed again  Yuvraj should be given rest for sometime. He should play in Ranji matches to gain his lost form. Talented players like Suresh Raina and Dinesh Kartik waiting for a spot in the team.

Yup, wash out like we have seen yesterday :p

The Aussies are feeling the heat of retiring players and for holding on to the old players for too long, we didn't give the young players enough game time and we are now left with in-experienced players or players in their late 20s who have only played a handful of first class games. We had out superior time - it's now time to rebuild.
