Managing two adsense accounts ?

    Hello,
I built a web site with a group of people and opened an adsense account on my name and later changed the name to another, but the contact email is still mine.

Then I built another web site on my own and opened another account for this website since I want to have separate earnings for myself.

On the second one, I already got earnings and checks, and on the first one, just reached $100.
    Both have same contact email.

I've heard that it is illegal to have two adsense accounts.
So I'm afraid to enter the PIN on the first one and loose both accounts.

    Do I have to worry?
    What can you say ?

I can't see why that would be a problem either with sepatate ssn/ein's. If you're worried about it you might use two different contact emails just to be on the safe side.

I didn'd specify no ssn, since I'm not in US.

So why people say that having two accounts is bad ?

    my opnion:

Its pretty black and white. 1 account per person or ein. There is no good or bad. Just like anything else its your INTENT that makes the difference.

If you are creating assloads of accounts because you are doing something shady then obviously that is bad.

I would recommend clearing with Google guys if you are unsure of your activity and account handling. Just email then about your position and let them know exactly what is the situation. They will guide you through the rest of formalities, if any.

Pssst... Contact Google, its highly recommended.

    Regards,

    Admans.

I completely agree. Intent is everything, especially in Googles eyes.
