I get 2-4 clicks average for 200 - 400 impressions. I Have bad days with zero clicks like you and good days with 3-6 clicks.
Looking at your website and your stats I would say that you have very low CRT with current ad positioning and I would suggest you to remove that 720x90 banner at the top and put a 160x600 ad into the sidebar and one 336x280 ad into the content. Make sure the background of ad blocks and of your site are same, ad link color same with your site link colors and use no borders. After you apply these your CRT should increase and have at least 5% CRT.
200-400 pageviews is next to no traffic at all. You're not doing anything wrong, you just don't have the traffic to make money with adsense.
More traffic = more money. Submit your site to link directories, write articles into your site, social bookmarking. hint hint.. It is easy to get traffic to your websites.
yes. traffic is one of the factor. by looking at your site, you have a big gap left empty above your header. what is it for? why not try using a 728x15 text link unit is slightly below your search bar, blend it with your white background and black font. I'm sure the impact on clicks will improve. wrapping your article with smaller 125 or 200 text ads is a way to go too. Give it a try..
I would also get rid of the feedburner chicklet until you have at least 100 subscribers. Seeing only 4 subscribers is going to turn off some people.
A lot of your traffic is going to be people like us who know about adsense and will avoid clicking on them. Usually blogs like this are easy to keep up with but don't usually convert well when it comes to clicks. It's like trying to sell candy to a dentist or cigarette's to a doctor.
200-400 pageviews could be somewhere around 50-75 visits a day. That is almost the same as having no traffic. Bump up your traffic before you try to tweak anything...
If you'll pardon me, it's ironic that many of the sites that complain about not making money with Adsense are sites about how to make money with Adsense?????? It's all about traffic, ad relevance to visitor's interests, ad placement, and more traffic. It's not about tricks, secrets, and cheats.
I agree. And your content is not really all that original. It's like you're competing with DigitalPoint or Technorati. Pick a more unique niche.
