Affiliate Sales Can Beat Adsense Like Anything

I have a site on which I have put up some good affiliate links. I was making $600 with adsense on the site on month by month.

But putting those affiliate links made me around $800 in just two days. Wow.
So, if you have right affiliate for your site, this can do wonders as compared to adsense.

You can read the full story in my blog.

I said that for years now. If people pay to advertise affiliate sites on your site they are maming more money than you are per click. Adsense is easy money but affiliate sites make you alot more money than adsense.

yah it said if you decrease the amount of things people have to click on you can make more money and just by removing adsense increases amount you make and another company I like is never blue ads which is in my signature which has an ad rotator so yo dont have to put a thousand banners on your site it just changes as your page changes and you can track which ads are doing good

I will agree to this too. Take a case of people making money out of parked domains. They simply send the traffic on a parked page where there is adsense placed. Say there are 100 uniques on the parked page. The person will get approx 5$ maximum from adsense or even less (over estimating). But then there is another method to make money out of it. Just forward the domain to some free offers like -

    1. Survey - Everyone who completes the survey stands a chance of winning an apple iPhone. All those who refer the person make 3.25$ per form filled. Say if even 2 people out of 100 fill the form, you make 6.5$

    2. Free Antivirus - Just the homepage email capture and you are paid 0.85$. This one converts like 20% for me.

So adsense is again not the best way to make money out of parked domains.

PS- The above two offers are from rocketprofit. They made me about 1500$ last month. There are many such offers at rocketprofit. (if you signup, then please use my sig link)

Jim you are absolutely right, especially with programs with high average order size. Merchants that sell lots of products like electronics and produce hundereds of dollars in commission per sale.

I agree with you but the problem is that usually you can't find a suitable product for your blog ... but if you find one ... Then you might say AdSense SuX:D

I've always wondered why people put Adsense on a page that is dedicated to a particular product or product line. Why give your visitor an opportunity to leave your page and buy from someone else?? For a much smaller revenue? I guess each affiliate has to gauge what it is he's looking for his sales page/blog, etc. to do, then gauge whether it makes financial sense to add it to your marketing plan. Interesting to find that other affiliate here feel the same way.

Pam, some webmaster want to see which performs better, adsense or affiliate offers. The key is to get a long cookie duration from the merchant so you have a longer window of opportunity for making trickle sales..

I think its patience, people put affiliate links and don't see any income in say a week and rather than waiting they then put up Adsense or similar ads and start earning a little bit and think its great andf keep them.
They then ditch the affiliate offers and don't go back again to see what they are missing.

I also find that some of the content on sites to what is being advertised simply don't go together

AdSense can be very profitable but it's not very common. I mean, is harder to make $xx,xxx from AdSense every month and affiliate marketing can boost your earnings easily.

the problem is that not all sites work for affiliate ads... in my case, there are very few affiliates that are relevant to some of my sites, so adsense is the only thing that works for those sites.

over the years, there have been hundreds of complaints from people out here about how cj and other affiliate networks have never paid them a dime... and if you know anything about how google failed to make a go of it's affiliate network, it's clear that affiliates are not for everyone.

thanks for the ideas on the rocketprofit network, btw.
