I saw a joomla modified website here on DP in some thread and that is the best modification i have ever seen.

    Have a look Laptop Gamers.

He has a great CTR as well, I am drawing inspiration from this website for my new Joomla based website.

    Nice site
I like the template doesnt look like a joomla site at all
did u make it or buy it?

    I always remove the
"Joomla! is Free Software released under the GNU/GPL License.:
    but its up to you
I would remove the TINY text link to your self at the top, could be trouble,ie hidden text
using firefox the right middle border is a tad off to the right of " Login Form"
if you want more friendly urls install 404sef.
i would turn you news link from http://www.diyimac.com/content/section/1/2/
    to this
    http://www.diyimac.com/news.html or
    http://www.diyimac.com/news/

    Good luck with the site

Thanks for the suggestions. The tiny url at the top was actualy an oversight, thanks!

I cannot get the template to line up correctly on the right, GRR! Is that is the CSS? I cannot find anything out of whack in the template.

The template for Joomla is a free downloadable that I modified heavilly, the SMF template I did myself.

Hey if it is true that you will be able to build clones - I might do that in the future.

    Hey Henny,
I thought you site was nice when I first saw it load. There is a glitch on the right shadowr.jpg - I see this on fire fox. The header margin might need to go up a bit and also the left margin. Also does your page fit 800 x 600, i know some people out there like having there screen resolution that small. Since your site is 100% width I wouldn't think its a problem. I hope this helps you.

Looks nice to me. Not too overbearing, a pleasant site to the eyes with an element of slickness to it.
