The outer-glow on the navigation text needs to be lightened or removed. It draws too much attention for a navigation menu. You want to draw the attention to the content, which shouldn't all be center aligned.

That is a usability/user-experience issue, it's best to leave text left aligned, as that is what is easier for users to read. You can have the text left aligned, and still have that content centered in the page.

 

add more color, hmm i think a sort of a red color would work on that template
