How many of the folks here have sites with the "top" keywords, such as mesothelioma?

    How's it going for you?

Most of the mesothelioma sites are just MFA.
And I can assure you they don't make that much money really.

$10 per click? $50 per click?
    That's not possible.

Driven by the dizzying dollar per click, one of my friend started a mesothelioma site with much hard work and little fanfare. In the beginning, the earnings were not bad but now it has started coming down. Hope MFAs won't last longer :)

I think the keyword of mesethelomia is going down in value anyway. And won't be to high paying for much longer.

Not a lot of traffic for the niche as well.

    So its not worth it.

So what do you think is better, making a MFA website targeting a highly competitive keyword like mesothelioma or finding a niche that doesn't have much competition (or traffic) with somewhat high-paying keywords?

I would think providing valuable content for a niche that doesn't have much competition.

Find a niche (or a hundred) that you can provide good content for and put up your site(s). I have many in the health and financial niches. No home runs, but a nice steady income(not all adsense of course).

I think mesothelioma is over rated. Best stick to subjects you know well.

I couldn't agree with you more HiLoRoller.

Not that mesothelioma is over rated but the fact that you should only stick to subjects you know well and are willing have a passion creating content about.

    MFA FTL!
