Content both on the frontpage and blog page.

    Just a simple question. Is it duplicated content if the blog post is also on the frontpage ?

    Yes. Which is why your blog's front page should use an excerpt of your posts rather than the full blown entry.

    You also have to worry about duplicated content in your Archives, Categories and Tags as well if you're using WordPress.

    Dan is correct, as usual. Using your robots.txt file you can block the spiders from crawling sections of your website that contain duplicate content. Also, if using the correct WP plugin using the robots meta tags in conjuction with robots.txt isn't a bad idea as well.

    As for which sections to allow crawling and which to not is always a large debate, if you search around you can see many different methods of blocking with wordpress. Your best bet is to review other SEO blogs that use wordpress and see what they use for their robots.txt
