Google testing new 468x60 ad unit

I encountered a new layout for the 468x60 ad units that Google seems to be testing at the moment.

I personally think that this will reduce CTR quite a bit if it should become the standard ad layout. The ads by Google text was removed from the lower right corner to the upper left placed above the ads.

its not new, Google has been experimenting with putting that 'Ads by Google' thing on the top right of ad units where it used to be on the bottom left.
    Bad news: Lower CRT:(

I personally feel that the "ads by Google" text should be removed altogether - attention whores

I think they are displaying this text to show the user that this is a trustworthy ad, in the line of Google approved..

I saw this on 728x90 ads too... It will definitely decrease the CTR :(

It´s probably to avoid wrong clicks, like they did in the add clickable area.
    Let´s wait and see...

    Same.

Google is not dumb people, they need to keep customers and they will realize after a time period that the logo on top is not for the better.
