new ad type - Google CPA?

    I'm not sure if this is the correct term but I just noticed a new ad type which allows for phone calls to a advertiser. I didn't work when i tested it but here's a screen shot.

    I guess it makes it easier for competitors to call you up and say "nya nya I'm clicking on your ads" :p

    Seriously, this appears to be an extension of the ticket thing that google has been doing for a while. When you search for "new york to london" ticket prices show up sometimes. Why not add hotels to the mix?

    Ok its old news.. new to me though. We do alot of work in the travel sector and one of our clients is the largest aggregator on the internet. They are having some hard times this direct booking this is just another example of how it will be harder for them. Direct booking will cut out the middle man and the third party sites that rely on clickthrough and the like.
    Good for Google though.
