Tom Hanks vs Russell Crowe?????

I am doing a 32 male actor tournament. This is match #11. Prediction of who will win??? I have NO clue. These are two great actors who have played memorable characters. Tom Hanks is the best example of an actor who dealt with comedy in his early years and now has become a well respected actor (some Jim Carry is trying to do). Russell Crowe is a dick….but he sure can act. I have no problem who moves on to the next round, but my gut says Tom Hanks because he is a easier guy to like. Tough answer. Im gonna go Crowe. More enjoyable for me but I love both. and the more I think about it the more I want to say Hanks haha but I will stick with Crowe.

PS. Crowe is not a dick. He is an aggressive person and made a mistake once. He is human...like Mel Gibson...but you people think that they are supposed to be super heroes becaue they are A list stars. They are not. Sorry. I happen to think Crowe is great in person from the interviews I have seen. Dont judge people so badly when you dont know them. He did nothing to you.

 

I personally prefer Tom Hanks, I think a lot is to do with the characters they play, hence my choice I love Forrest Gump!!!

 

I love Tom Hanks, I was absolutely moved by his performance in Forrest Gump.

 

They are not my favorites, but I vote for Crowe

Very tough choice, both are great actors. But Hanks due to the likeability factor

 

obviously russell crowe. undoubtedly. he is a born gem

 

personally I like Crowe better but I think Hanks' entire body of work presents a stronger case. Tom Hanks range is amazing the dude can play any role out there. He's just not my cup of tea, Forest Gump did nothing for me.
