Yeah right... For the past few days, I have not earned even a single cent in Adsense... My blog has been alive for more or less three months and I only have earned $43.43... Is this just right? Or is there something wrong?

My earnings are down about 75% since the end of January too... Sure they'll kick back in soon!

You need quality traffic. To attract traffic to your website,
    1. Submit your site to all major search engines.
    2. Submit your site to all major internet directories
    3. Get link backs from other websites of identical theme to increase pagerank in search engines.
    4. Try to put your website's name as signature in forum posts/emails etc.
    5. Go for offline advertising like putting your website's name in your name cards etc.

Yep, i agree with Abhik, indeed very nice sum for a 3month blog.
I´d suggest you to keep updating your blog regulary.
But if just happened on the last few days, do it an update (just o make shure that google knows it´s updated), it´s probably gonna start having traffic again.

I notice in my blog some fluctuations in traffic with have the effect you´re describing. One or two days low traffic, 1week heavy traffic... don´t really have an explanation to it. Just dont worry that much

    Your site is quite new.
Focus on quality content and build more backlinks to drive traffic.
Monetize when you have enough traffic.

Be easy. Take some time. It is a good sign that you earned $43.43 in 3 months. All you need is to keep continueing with the blog. After some time you will be earning a handsome amount if you keep going with proper optimization.

You need to give it time. I started with Adsense at the end of November and haven't even made as much as you yet however, every day my traffic increases and with a bit of luck so will my earnings.

I think you just need to be patient really. It's a shame Adsense wasn't around 5 years ago when I ran a successful forum. :(

Looking at your alexa ranking I would say 43 is not that bad for 3 months. Things won't be good straight away. You just need to understand how internet works. Internet income builds over time. It increase when traffic increase. And you should learn affiliate marketing too. don't rely on just adsense.

That's about 50 cents a day. Once you are getting that day in, day out, aim for $1 a day, and then $2. then $5, $10 etc...

    Keep it up!

I have realised that to get traffic you need quality articles that are of interest to people. I have been writing some stuff recently which people have contacted me about saying they liked reading it (for example I wrote a review for NYC with pictures from my recent visit).

Because of this people are subscribing to my blog and will keep coming back. Try to write about something you are passionate about and that is really interesting. Also include pictures too, that helps :)

I think there's more to it than that.

My traffic has been growing by the month, and I'm still not earning a lot of money. It's a couple of hundred a month, but I've yet to reach the $1000 mark.

Hey...dont forget one thing, if you´re doing a couple of hundred keep updating on a regular basis and in some months time you´ll be doing for sure about those $1000. The thing is it takes time... so your content consolidates you raise in SERP´s get usual visitors etc.

PM me in 3-4months and tell me the result.

I have a problem too. I get some traffic, but no-one clicks on my ads. What can I do? Is there any way to switch to CPM ads?

I think you need at the least 30,000 hits a day to really make any real money.:D
You can get adbrite as well. You can attach adbrite ads to the google ads and if someone bids higher on your ad it blocks the google ad and shows the adbrite ad.;)
