    Oh boy! The plot thickens!

I guess when it's your time to die, you're gone? Is the grim reaper chasing this guy?

Opps wrong forum. Who'd have thunk we actually have a politics forum?

Maybe I'll read where I type in the future. Sorry 'bout that!

That guy is just an attention seeker. First, he purposely steps right in the way of Cheney's gun. Then, when the press starts to get bored with that story, he fakes a heart attack.

    Pffftttt....

It wasn't exactly "random" he had a heart attack... a piece of birdshot from the wounds made it's way into his heart.

That would have happened even if Vice President Cheney didn't shoot him in the chest and face with a shotgun.

It's so easy to have a heart attack with an IV in and too much of one thing or another gets in it. Hospitals are dangerous places!

Many things that can be introduced into an IV are not tracable in an autopsy. So ya couldn't even proof if a nurse screwed up in some cases.

So if Cheney goes to jail for manslaughter, is he still allowed to be vice President from the big house?

Goti ran the mob from jail IIRC. I'm sure the Vice President could too. I mean run the country of course, not the mob. ;)

Hell, in DC they woted a crack head to be mayor. Anything is possible in DC!

P.S. Thanks for moving the thread. Appreciate it.

    Ha!

I bet you in a few days the story will change. It wasn't Cheney that shot him, actually it was Cheney's gun that shot him.

If that doesn't work there's always the Presidential pardon...Bill Clinton style.

That's correct. Cheney doesn't shoot people. Cheney's gun shoots people.

If I recall correctly from my days as a government employee in Canada, that wouldn't be the case here. Even if you're driving a government vehicle on government business, if you commit a criminal act or an act of criminal or civil negligence, you are responsible for that. The rationale is simple: The government hires you to do government business, not to commit criminal acts or to drive through stop signs. Hell, up here the government won't even pay speeding tickets or parking tickets.

Mark my words (or do I mean read my lips?): By tomorrow, the papers will report that it wasn't a heart attack after all - just heartburn from a hot chili dog.

    I'm willing to play fair.

Remove Kennedy from office and you can remove Cheney from office.

Fair deal to me... atleast Kennedy has actually killed someone....

    and on that note....
