Hey everyone, I started jumping into the world of adsense and seo about 2 months ago, and like some people I made the likely mistake of registering a load of domain names, which some or most are relatively worthless. I don't really wanna be reminded. My question is, are any of these names valuable as URLs themselves or as resale value in your opinion? accidentallypregnant.com baggy-eyelids.com brucelee-diet.com buying-a-mobile-phone.com buying-a-stereo.com buying-your-first-house.com buyingabathroom.com buyingakitchen.com buyingalounge.com buyingapool.com dietingbenefits.com organicfood-benefits.com pain-killeraddiction.com wakingupinthemorning.com yourpersonalhygiene.com
well, if you know SEO well then you know that you could rank really well for "buying a house" with buying-your-first-house if you know how SEO so domains could worth something if create a website for each one and try to optimize. else, if you're going to sell them i thing they're worthless.
IF you are in market to sell domains, i will advise to donate for free. Other then that two of your domain you can build content based website. You can write reviews and few articles and put on thse websites. submit articles to article directories and keep submitting 1-2 article per month. With little SEO work and ads you will start getting some money to your account. We all have gone through this phase. When I started I booked domains what I thought was best , not what people were looking on internet. YOu are at right place, on this site there is tons of material to read, rest dp family will make you knowledgeable. thx buying-a-mobile-phone.com buying-your-first-house.com
I'm not in the market to sell domains- but what do you mean by "I will advise to donate for free"? Also, buying-a-mobile-phone and buying-your-first-house - what were you commenting about those 2 sites?
accidentallypregnant.com Talk about pregnancy in a positive light and setup affiliate links to baby clothes, etc.. baggy-eyelids.com Sell cosmetics and "youth" supplements, spammy, but money to be made. brucelee-diet.com I didnt know there was a brucelee diet. Bad news is you most likely can't use his name to promote a diet, his or otherwise, unless your name is bruce lee. buying-a-mobile-phone.com I hate hyphens but not bad. buying-a-stereo.com See above note. buying-your-first-house.com See above note, but good for home purchase leads or credit reports. buyingabathroom.com contractor leads and homedepot type affiliates buyingakitchen.com See above note buyingalounge.com Haha um no clue, good luck with that buyingapool.com Excellent, tons of affiliate links, build CONTENT, lots of it. Talk about saltwater pools, bromine, chlorine, the works. Great leads for home equity loans as well "pool loans". dietingbenefits.com The benefits of dieting, no brainer, tons of money, good niche for adsense, etc.. organicfood-benefits.com Eh, niche niche, could be good for a content site that feeds power to your other health sites. pain-killeraddiction.com bad hyphens here, but talk about hydrocodone (vicodin), oxycontin, celebrities being caught on them, etc... wakingupinthemorning.com This would be an awesome coffee or job site or personal blog. Job higher paying affiliates. yourpersonalhygiene.com Um information site to feed power to your other health sites. Hope that helps.
Hmmm, I agree that hyphens look spammy. React has some good advice there. In the future I'd shoot for shorter or really figure out what keyword strings you are targeting ahead of time and why.
Dietingbenefits.com is a keeper. It is a proven fact if you live on next to a starvation diet you will live much longer. Make a great longevity site. There are many new products that slow down and even reverse aging and a lot of people are interested in the subject. Advertisers would be abundant. Perhaps you could sell some of the products yourself. HGH shots run over 20k a year. PS: Anything to do with diets sell. A multi billion dollar a year business. The rest I am not to crazy about. Stay away from hyphenated names. They are hard to sell. IReport.com recently sold for $275,000.00. I-report.com went for free.
Actually, Rick Schwartz sold iReport.com for $750k to CNN & gave i-Report.com for free to them with the purchase.
