One thing that helped with the relevance of ads on my site was ad blocking. Use it! After blocking a few of the mortgage and vonage stuff, I am getting more relevant ads more often.
I notice that too, but when i tested on my sites, a chunk of my cash went down. Some of those ads pay very high.
Blocking vonage etc is good tip actually. However depends on nitche of your site, if by blocking vonage, mortgate ads one is getting relevant ads, the CTR will definite go up. If your nitche is better paying, you have all to win by blocking vonage stuff
Would it be a good idea to block "free ringtone" ads even if they say something like "Free television ringtones" and my site is about television? I have a feeling that these may be low paying.
