    pre-sell your potential customer and find traffic that is targeted and responsive. blog traffic are not very responsive and so do social bookmarking site traffic.

    When I get them to my site I always offer a free ebook or a free lesson. Of course I ask for an email in exchange. Then I have auto delivery of more tips, free lessons etc. While always making it easy for them to go to checkout and make a purchase. Give good info and you will gain the trust necessary for them to deal with you.
