i wouldn't worry unless you're seeing a BIG increase in your CTR % .. if you are really concerned, remove your ads immediately, then look thru your server logs for repeating IP's or referral strings.
Going forward, check out Asrep or ClickAider to tracking IPs that click your ads..

increase in number of clicks without much increase in traffic and unusually low $/click.

I still use adlogger and works fine It only doesn't show the "go to" targer URL but t is very useful for tracking clicks.

I stopped using adlogger as it's fraud prevention feature was blocking ads for all visitors regardless of how many times they clicked the ads.

I am now trying asrep... but not too happy with the accuracy of detecting the clicks. did anyone try the pro version? maybe I should upgrade and see if the full version is better....

Maybe you did not setup it right but I never had problems with adlogger. I am still using it and I am very happy with it because he's doing its job.

The author of adlogger says that all of those clicks it's tracking are totally inaccurate - so much that it's useless as a tracking tool..

No, this was not the case. I used adlogger for at least a year and a half and it worked properly. Then google changed something and adlogger started blocking everything.... I am surprised it is still working for you.

I posted the below on another thread...

This has happened to me trice in the last week.. today also its wierd stats.... but when i click over to channel stats everything seems to be fine... It has got me really worried.

    Todays stats till now is

Impression 470 clicks 180 earnings but when i am going to the channel ... it has only 18 clicks

Since its not getting reflected in the channel stats, i am not sure which site is causing it.

no human visit according to the stats... i can see a spider called twiceler in the user agent field and its hiting a lot.

    Twiceler-0.9 http://www.cuill.com/twiceler/robot.html

    Does anyone else seeing it.

Should i block the IP of that spider?

    Ani
