I agree with you. If YPN does go international - I would swap out adsense from my sites to check it out.

Even if it's only .01 more then what im making with adsense, I would go with YPN. Google is getting to powerful and thats NEVER a good thing.

Adsense Earnings is decreasing day by day. They are treating like a animal to small and medium publishers. Its my 2nd year with adsense, and i am earning a handsome amount from adsense. But theres always a fear that Google will ban me. I think, everybody want a competitor for adsense, so they have an alternative when google ban them.
Google is just now behaving like a GOD. They are over-confident. They never think to send a warning email to innocent small publishers.
I hope, microsoft will buy Yahoo. and offer YPN internationally and produce relevant ads.

I personally will only move to Yahoo/Microsoft if the ads are good, offers text ads. Pay well per click. EFT to the UK, simple to use and set up, quick for the ads to download, accept my site and generally improve where Adsense falls. Quite tight but they have to be worth my time. Knowing Microsoft was they are, they will manage to screw it up in some sort of way.

As has been said before an alternative to adsense is great for all of us webmasters. Really great. I would try it out on a few of my sites and keep a few of my other sites with adsense. So not all my eggs in one basket.

Generally when an IPO is preparing insiders know months before the public and projects are frozen. Maybe that's the reason they're still in beta waiting for Microsoft to buy them.

but stupid YPN is in launch phase for over 2 or 3 years? they still couldn't fix the targetting.

Look up in YPN forum, the whole program is a mess. I wouldn't really bet big on YPN unless they fix that crap. It doesnt matter if MS buy yahoo, the program has to be fixed and launched internationally. It will take some time.

I will not shift completely but will surely run A/B test to see which one is working better on each and every site of mine.

If MS is successful in acquiring yahoo, then google will be only pleased to improve the adsense with a better margin for publishers, just to retain them from finding another alternative. Hope such a situation won't come ;)

If Microsoft can't improve relevancy in its search engine, I certainly can't expect them to place relevant ads on my site. My answer would be no.

I'm not a big fan of Microsoft. Seems just a few years back they were talking about breaking Microsoft up into smaller companies. People have a short memory and apparently could care less if Microsoft buys Yahoo.
