Drug vending machine made specifically for marijuana -- all thanks to Vincent Mehdizadeh, a Los Angeles medical-cannabis dispensary owner. The heavily armored machines dispense your medication in 1/8 and 1/4 ounce envelopes and require fingerprint and prepaid card verification in order to operate. 1/8 ounce packages go for about $40. The 24-hour machines were designed to provide "convenient access, lower prices, safety, and anonymity." Awesome, except they'll be stoners hanging around these things like flies waiting for people to use them. Link : http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22910820/?GT1=10755
good stuff! I wish marijuana was legal for medicinal purposes when my great uncle was getting treatment for his cancer. He put his "morals" aside (about it being illegal) and smoked a joint every one of his last few days. He started eating again and felt better than he did since he started receiving treatment.
lol. i read that article when it came out..... thats so fantastic. we're just one step closer to marijuana becoming legal.
"The computerized machine requires fingerprint identification and a prepaid card with a magnetic stripe. Once the card and fingerprint are verified, a bright green envelope with the pot drops down a slot."
I have totally no objection to it being used for medical purposes, but hopefully it would not be abuse.
