Is Google Adsense not for Indians from Feb 1? No applications accepted so far.

    Dear DP friends,

I understand, Google will no longer support referrals from India. This was the message sent by Google and this is official.

But how about Google not accepting publishers from India?

Two of my friends wanted to join adsense but Google keep denying them from adsense.

Does the policy, no referrals from India automatically mean that publishers from India will not join Google AdSense?

If any of here facing the same problem, please guide me.

It's like making a cup of coffee in the kitchen IF you have a quality website.. It seems Google is working hard to get all the krap sites out of the system.

What are the URLs that your two friends submitted for approval ?

I am not sure whether its crappy or not, lets get one thing straight, its up to google to deny or accept, but if they are sure about to deny publishers from India, why they cant simply reveal that?

Am again not sure what Google mind set about indians, but would be happy if anyone here could explain, whether they still accept publishers from India or they dont?

I would love to see that day when only quality sites get in and all garbage flushed out.

But this is a big news if its outright india ban? can someone else confirm. Thanks to OP for sharing this here. We have a large indian publisher base and it will affect this region adversely.

However its hard to digest that no more indians would be allowed in adsense. That sounds just like rudy guilliany elected as President lol

"OP" means Original Poster (that's you) ..

Guys, just because there is a report of TWO publishers who's websites we have not even seen do not get accepted does not mean that the entire country has been banned! C'mon!

I dont think Google will ban publishers from India. If that happens, internet would lose its very meaning..dont you think? If your site is worth displaying ads, they will allow you.

India is one of the fastest growing countries in terms of broadband usage. More broadband users means more publishers. Google just "can not" ban India.

So, two of your friends got rejected and you think all of India will be denied. Dude, get a grip. Do you think Google will turn down millions of internet users from India?

Its not possible any way mate  Regarding your friends applications denied by google maybe due to its against google guidelines as google says 'publishers in the AdSense program may only place Google ads on sites that adhere to our content guidelines'.

And If you have any official news then care to share its url here.

    DON.
