Which web hosting do you use for your website / blog? Asking generally as well as for suggestions regarding a site that i am going to start soon. It will mostly contain text and images. So any kind of suggestions would be useful. Thanks, Enigma
There are many good webhosting companies, you can try searching this forum to know which ones are better
i use hostgator and haven't had any problems with them. As long as you don't over their CPU restrictions your fine.
Okie. I've heard about Hostgator a lot. But in the forums most of the people are busy promoting their hosting so haven't found good results. I am very bad at coding, so asking here for unbiased opinions. I need a good control panel and good themes because i am very new to this hosting stuff.
i am sharing with some friends a server in http://server4sale.com/ , they have really a very good support
This is in the wrong section, but I use LayeredTech. I agree with makaka though server4sale has great support.
The nice thing about Hostgator is you can try them out for just 1 cent to see if you like them. You can join for a cent here: http://www.hostingdiary.com/2007/09/web-hosting-cou.html Andrew
I use ovh.com You can use IPs from several European countries with same account (different domains): UK, Germany, France, Spain, ...
I have to ask, what is so great about those hosts? I've been using Godaddy for about two years and have never had a problem but most people won't advise using them. I really can't understand why.
The best webhosting for blogs and websites is BLUEHOST HOSTING. I've actually just signed up with them 2 DAYS AGO and I already love the fact that everything is so easy and reliable. Even for a begginer like me, everything is laid out perfectly with great tutorials. They give you like 1,500 gigs of data space and 15,000 gigs of banwidth of month. Unlimited domains. I set mine up with a wordperss blog and a ebay script that I had in about 5 mins. I actually did about 12+ hours of research on the subject before I actually bought. At only $6.95 a month, its the best deal out there for what you get. Plus for whatever reason you don't want to host with them in the future, you can cancel with them and they'll give you your money back. If you have any questions, pm me.....
I use hostgator and have had no issue's with them. I am on a dedicated IP and no problems as of yet. (1 year'ish been with them)
